About Me

Retired from the funeral industry where I was celebrant, arranger, grief group facilitator. Previously worked in aged care, social support.most of my life has been centred around people care and my volunteer work has followed the same lines. Most recent was St John ambulance volunteer, but I stepped back when Covid eventuated because of exposure and wanted to protect my elderly parents.

My Interests

Mosaics, creative colouring, circle dancing, walking, keeping fit, reading, writing, penfriends, supporting elderly parents. I like to think that I live in the moment, my endeavour is to speak to at least one stranger a day because perhaps I am the only one that person might speak to all day. I love all animals, but when people ask me am I a cat person or a dog person, my reply is always the same - I am an ANIMAL person who just happens to have cats at the moment.
