About Me

I'm an adventurous guy, always up for something spontaneous. I was a teacher of various forms of literature most of my life, but these days am focusing on making a living through my music. I play guitar/bass/keys and I sing.... As well, I'm working on a very VERY long book, and other writing projects. In a sense I consider myself semi-retired (from my former profession, at least) and enjoying the second half... looking for a partner to do it with. I've got a great sense of humor, very quick wit, but really not into mind games .... I'm very straightforward, and appreciate it when others are as well.

My Interests

I love live music, of almost any genre. I also love the arts in general - so a play, a movie, even "netflix and chill" are always fun - but so is a day in the mountains or at the beach. Also love trying new restaurants, and new experiences in general. I'm a deeply spiritual person - BUT - it's not something I "wear on my sleeve" ie I consider my beliefs personal - and have no interest in convincing anyone of anything - the only "spirituality" that I think matters publicly is how we relate to others. Ie the golden rule of "Do unto others as you would have them do to you." Lastly (feel the need to say after that little speech I just wrote) I'm really very easy going... seriously!

My Ideal Partner

My ideal partner appreciates the creative arts, and especially music - but is a grounded personality. Some would call a "no BS type." I'm very straightforward, and appreciate it when others are as well. My ideal mate is Intelligent, but down to earth - Sensitive - but strong... Imaginative, but not flakey. Someone who enjoys loud, fun times, but also knows how to be quiet inside.
