I work in a shelter for homeless kids. It's a very fulfilling job despite the pay I get. I get to help people who are in need and that, to me, is worth more than any money anyone can offer me. I work through connecting to the kids through counselling and helping them find the best way to heal from their current situation.

I like helping other people out. I like the thought that I am alleviating the suffering someone is feeling. I like the thought of taking away the burden from somebody and transferring it onto myself. I hate to see other people suffering so I always try to find a way for me to be able to help/
