I am a cook at a local diner. Prior to this job, had no serious experience in cooking. I was having trouble looking for a job and I lucked out on this little diner. The owner loved to cook so he took me under his wing and taught me. Now, I've been working here for a couple of years and I am loving it.

I have fallen in love with cooking. Before I got this job, all I could prepare were sandwiches, cereal and maybe I knew how to fry an egg.
