I am retired and have recently moved from living on acreage into a townhouse in Brisbane. I enjoy life and people and would like to meet new people mainly for friendship. Would really like ot have a special friend, a good mate. And although I am not specifically looking for it, if something else develops. . . , so be it.

People, nature, animals, plants, living, loving, learning, photography, food. I could easily elaborate on the above and add many more interests. But, there are probably many things that I have not as yet done in which I would be interested. One of the great things about life is that it can hold many surprises. Of course there are important interests such as family including my two mature aged grown up daughters and my beautiful granddaughter.

My Ideal Partner

I am not specifically looking for an ideal partner, and if I was, I would not be able to describe that person. I am looking for friends with the usual desirable attributes such as honestly, integrity, friendliness. I certainly am not looking for a female clone of me. I enjoy differences and the opportunity to discuss differing point of view and so on. I enjoy my independence and I hope that would be a trait also enjoyed by my friends. Having said that, I believe that close friends should be there for each other, if and when support is needed.
