About Me

I would like to think I am kind and considerate of others, try to be health and fitness conscious - I believe its what you do 90 % of the time that matters, a few slips or splurges are ok. I am determined to enjoy every day, after seeing a few family/friends pass away, I realise how much we must enjoy our life and not wish for what others have. I have had careers in journalism and child care but now work for a community organisation transporting people t to hospital - sometimes humbling. I loved bringing up two sons and now enjoy little grandies.. sometimes in short bursts! I live alone and am not lonely but would love a companion of similar interests.

My Interests

the outdoors, beaches, fishing, and camping, hopefully I will soon have a camper/mobile home for initially short trips and then one day would like todo the big lap of Oz. I love cooking, I shop and plan meals, often taking them to family members. At the same time I live eating out and really enjoy finding a good new hideway restaurant. Not much fun alone though. I do watch sport but am not fanatical and missing a game isn't the end of the world. Like movies, my favourite band is Queen and so hugely enjoyed Bohemian Rhapsody. I have travelled to many parts of the world, but there is plenty more to see and I am about to renew my passport.

A lady who has handled the hurdles of life and is still keen to explore. She needs to be confident, comfortable with herself and smile and laugh a lot.
