About Me

Am a retired pensioner. Ex military and railway. Slightly damaged. Twice divorced. Became widowed a little over two years now. Am from Stockinbingal, NSW. Wollongong area has been home since mid 70's. I love to laugh. Even if it's at my own expense. Bush camping, fishing, prospecting and my balcony garden keep me sane. And my dog Zoey (Bull Terrier). Yes...and my mates keep me reasonably sane too. I'm missing conversations. I enjoy the deep and meaningful. A partners words and thoughts are the most precious. Have a Biker history. No longer have a bike but the attitude remains. Have found that I need to be honest to my heart. They're not meant to be alone. I'm not where I anticipated being at this stage of life but am happy where I'm at. I don't want to be selfish with my life. I want to share it. For what it's worth.

My Interests

So much has changed for me. Getting back into the bush and camping has brought me back. If you ever get the opportunity find a spot in the bush. Get comfortable and just listen and look. Sometimes close the eyes and just listen...and feel. Food has changed. Exploring more. Enjoying the serenity of the morning. It's my best part of the day. It's just straight out beautiful. The morning...warm, soft and smells the best. Going to the movies. Yes I know there's more than plenty on TV. But going out to the movies, to me, is a most personal interaction. Music. Anything from Mozart to Motorhead. A good tune is a good tune. Regardless of origin. Personally I'm a bit of a nut on "The Angels". Animals. Any opportunity to interact with a critter. I'm in. Any critter. I am open to new things...

My Ideal Partner

Doesn't want to lead. Doesn't want to follow. But wants to walk by my side. I love eye contact. If the eyes have it everything else will fall into place. It doesn't matter to me if you're short or long. Thin or thick. Struth... I wouldn't care if you were purple with pink poker dots and come from another galaxy. If we meet I will look deep and long. I want to see you. A sense of humor. Can you laugh at the absurd and silly. eg Monty Python, The Young Ones, etc... Would be chuffed if you know the ultimate question to the ultimate answer of, "42". But also a serious side. The warrior within. Life isn't always gentle. Or kind. Can't be afraid to cry at things. I'm not. Don't be afraid to be yourself. If I love you. I will love you for it.
