About Me

I'm quite an easy going person who enjoys a balanced approach to life. I must say as the recent years unfold I've been challenged to pursue things that really matter, in areas of relationships, faith & things that I'm passionate about, that inspire me. I would love to enjoy the company of kinfolk who share similar passions, in areas such as photography, travel/wanderlust, art & music. Photography probably tops my list, as a visual art form & creative outlet that constantly inspires me, never failing to open my eyes to explore & interpret the constantly unravelling snippets of life. Traveling would be another equally serious pursuit of mine, as part of me is always seeking to explore some remote and exotic places, and some of the recent destinations include trekking in the Himalayan ranges in Ladakh/Kashmir, working on street documentary photography in Nepal, exploring the streets on Hanoi to Sapa on motorcycle, etc. I recently discovered the joy and aural pleasure of analogue vinyl music, and have since developed into somewhat of a analogue music snob (it just sounds better, period). I listen to a mishmash of rock to jazz primarily, and some of the stuff i love listening to include The XX, Damien Rice, Keane, Coldplay, Howie Day, Jason Mraz, Lifehouse, Corrinne May, U2, to old school jazz standards like Dave Brubeck, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole.
