Hi, I\'m James. I prefer to see the lighter, more hilarious side of life because I love to laugh. Or I may just be a tragic optimist :p I work full time as a public servant for the federal government (read as: for the apparatus of government, not those at the helm :p) Pursuing a Bachelor\'s in Political Science. Only a year in and trying to fit it in around work and life so going about it part time, and via correspondence... sooo I\'ll be done just before I\'m scheduled for my mid-life crisis, which is nice. Alright. Here it is. This is the part of the description box where I’m supposed to tell you that i\\\'m an easy going, compassionate, down to earth, caramel fudgesicle with a creme brulee centre lightly dusted with gold shavings, and that I’m seeking a similarly delicious dessert with whom to spend some time. However if you\\\'ve come this far and are willing to go a little further, then I propose we use the complex workings of the internet to converse and form judgments of one another this way...

My Interests

I love being able to travel when I have the opportunity. There\'s places I want to return to again and still plenty of places I wish to see. I love French culture and am low key trying to learn the language with... some success. So visiting France is at the top of my list, though the next trip is shaping up to be Japan, where one of the things I want to do is climb Mt. Fuji. Have a combined 30th/New Years resolution on upping my running and cycling game with the goal of doing a half marathon later this year. Other than that there\'s the usual of keeping up with family and friends, interlaced with the occasional netflix binge :p

My Ideal Partner

I'm not looking for someone to complete me, nor am I interested in the prospect of someone who thinks I'll complete them. I'm fulfilled in my life and the prospects ahead of me and ideally a potential partner would be the same. I am however a hopeless romantic once I warm to someone and thus would adore a partner to join me on life's great adventure and share in all the special wonderments it has to offer.
